Fan controller not reading full speed.

Using lamptron fc5 v2. 4 channel 30 watt per channel

running 18 ap-15's on them. 3x 360 rads in push/pull.

10 fans on one channel 4 on another and 4 on another channel. left last channel for case fans.

anyways, one channel reads 1810 rpm, another 1750 rpm and the last reads 1730 rpm. all at full speed. none read full 1850 rpm. is this a problem? should i look into it or just leave it as is?

Your going to have some vdrop from resistance and some % (+/-) RPM variance between each fan. How much depends on whether or not your fan controller is feeding the full 12v out each socket. The only way to know for sure is to measure it at the contoller. Also, how is the controller getting the RPM signal? With that many fans on each channel, feeding multiple RPM signals to the controller will give you bogus readings. If this is not the case and only one fan is providing the RPM signal, your results seem perfectly normal. If you want to check your fan variance, hook up just one fan and test it, then hook up another. You will see pretty quickly not every fan runs at 1850RPM.
