Lapping an X6 ?

Thread Starter
I was thinking about lapping my new 1100T, but before I do I was wondering if anyone here has lapped their 1090T or 1100T.

I've lapped CPU's before so I got it covered, I was just wondering what sort of temprature drop I would achieve.

I have a Corsair A70 HDT cooler aswell, probably lapp that at the same time.

I sold my 12w 1055T to someone, and he lapped it REALLY nice, he only saw a 2-4c drop tough. I dont think its worth it for the warranty.

Immortal cpu's, I like it!

And I'm a temperature junkie, live in Canada so I have my window open all the time just for a 3 degree drop

Thank you for the reply, and that's what I was hoping for

I bet if you lap both cpu and the a70 you will see a 6c drop at the most.
But please post p[ics and show us how much it helped.
