Bluescreens around every 30 minutes (Pictures in post) - Page 2

How about some clarity? I don't know the significance of either of those files, but what are the circumstances of your BSOD's? Have you gone along, not doing anything, have you been making system changes? Are you overclocking? Could be corrupted dll's, or just a wonky system file due to an overclock--you could try overwriting the dll and exe (google seems to find lots of info on the dll you mentioned).

Yes. But I can only change the FSB
Stock setting:132 (i think)
I set OC to: 158

I don't think the problem is the overclock as I was running the laptop with the overclock for ages & had no problems but only now I get these BSODs & random BSOD freezes.

So it is OC'd--that could definitely present system instability, and especially, over time, if the OC isn't stable, or if the PCI-E bus is automatically varied with the FSB (usually it is), that could easily cause data corruption if cranked much beyond 100MHz (since SATA is on the PCI-E bus). I'd set your system back to default, then run chkdsk on your hard drive and see if it catches any errors.

No, no voltage settings.

Edit: Hard Freeze after I post above & was reading another thread^

CPU @ 49C Defiantly Overheating suggestion is off the list

I'm getting tired of watching the "Welcome " Screen on login

I started ChkDsk but when it finishes scanning/searching/verifying/(I don't know what it does so i'm just writing what some of it said here) ...It closes. Is that good?

um yeah, very important.

ntoskrnl.exe - is windows...well the kernel image, it makes all the magic happen (including BSOD's)

hal.dll - hardware abstraction layer, its a layer to handle function calls from other things to mainly your chipset, and other devices on your rig.
