CPU @ 49C Defiantly Overheating suggestion is off the list

I'm getting tired of watching the "Welcome " Screen on login
Overheating does not necessarily equal to cpu overheating.
your chipset can also overheat. a lot of laptop motherboards require service over time due to heat. google HP DV series for example.

I strongly recommend setting your clock / fsb back to stock settings. As It is likely that your motherboard is automatically adjusting the voltage (here read adjust = bump) in an attempt to keep everything stable (failing to do so obviously). trying running your laptop without o/c for a day or two. it won't kill you and you hopefully won't see the "welcome" screen so often.
(well this is one step of the troubleshoot process, see if your system becomes stable at stock first, then go from there)

good luck

here

go there, scroll down till you find "whocrashed" and download the free home edition. its a bit better imho about what is causing the problem, as bsod's that are for hal and ntoskrnel are just generalization, this program in its conclusion can tell you if it is a driver doing it or not.
