Is there a block with Nickel Plating that will provide the cooling performance and flowrate of the EK Supreme HF Full Nickel?

If there isn´t my only chance will either be a single loop with the Kryos XT(Nickel plated Messing) because it is very restrictive.

Or the EK Supreme HF Full Copper and just have the top Nickel plated.
Fractions of a degree is not on par (based on Bundys roundup)? Is there some other reviews/roundups yer basing this on?

I also have this block for almost a year in use, 10 months I guess, and last time 'bout a month ago it still looked ok, so I guess a bad batch or smth.

What I do see with EK these days is that the quality of the machineing is from a less quality than it used to be like 'bout 1 - 1.5yrs ago ...

I disagree, the machining on the FC88's I have vs the FC-580, the 580 is designed more thoroughly for clearances and things like that. The machining is of the same high quality as it is on my pumptop (bought ~1yr ago) and the various blocks.

I haven´t used my EK Supreme HF Full Nickel yet because I wanted to leave the option of RMA open.

I have the rev.2 judging by the stock jet blade 1.

Will my block be affected by flaking?

Only way to know is to run it under water. And to beat on the same dead-horse (meh to those that will just rant): distilled water and silver or biocide (ie. pt nuke, etc)

Of course I could do that but if it will flake I will not be able to return it.
I will just exchange it with the Kryos XT which has no reported cases of Nickel flaking as far as I know.

I am very pissed at EK for releasing low quality products-.-
Aren´t they obligated to do random quality check ups on their product before they are allowed to sell them?Normally that is the case in Europe so I really wonder how this could have happened and the worst part is that they refuse to admit the obvious-.-!!

Hope you can give me some feedback on my Kryos XT decision.

hmm, which retailer did you get it from? sidewinder? most retailers will tell you to contact the manufacturer and you run the risk of a restock fee if there is nothing wrong with the block. lmk, I want to shop there if their customer services is that great
