EK CPU water Block HELP. (UPDATE) - Page 12

I got it from Aquatuning.at

But tell me about my decision for the Kryos XT^^ do you think the Nickel plated Kryos won´t have those problems?

Oh yeah and due to the Kryos´ restriction I had a little idea.
I would love if you guys could comment:D

Theoretically, the Kryos should be fine, it's a localized issue with EK quality control/plating at this point. As to returning it etc, is seems that EK is starting to come around and accept RMA's- if you have a problem, it will probably be honored, but it's a luck of the draw right now. I suspect EK will make it right, it just may take some patience here while they test and acknowledge the issue.

I've had my EK Supreme HF nickel/plexi rev1 for ~9 months and she is clean and shiny wink.gif

Kryos even performs a bit better than the EK Supreme HF.

I will only choose the Kryos if my theory works ...because the block is very restrictive and I want to isolate it from the other blocks:)

So please check my theory out: http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...cool-idea.html

sry here the working link:)
http://www.overclock.net/water-cooling/962752-i-just-had-cool-idea.html

It is a fact that the Kryos XT outperforms the EK Supreme HF maybe just by fractions of a degree but it does give you slightly better temps.
The downside though is that if also is highly restrictive which is the reason why it provides better temps.
An other advantage I think is also that there have not been any negative experiences with the Nickel plating.
I did a whole 10 page thread on that matter "Highflow myth or not?" there you can see screens and reviews etc etc:)

Ok guys I got the replacement Copper base back from EK today. Its a new copper base for the EK Supreme HF. No more nickel plate flakes. But I have already replaced the CPU block with a Rasa in this loop. But Im just glad to see that they stepped up and took care of this.
