P45-UD3L at 2000 fsb?

I have this weird problem where i cannot overclock my gtx460 to 900 otherwise it crashes 3dmark vantage. I played with all the NB voltages and i found that the ram running at a 1:1 ratio is the only way to get this card to clock that high. Now at a 1:1 ratio i would need the fsb to be at 490 on the processor for it to maintain processor score which gives my a 300 plus gpu score.

Is it worth the added stress for a 300gpu point gain, or even safe for that matter to run the motherboard at a near 2000fsb?

2000 FSB? I thought you said 490 in BIOS?
Unless you're talking about Rated FSB in CPUz.
You should be fine.

hmm, i have a delta fan blowing directly on the NB so i dont know. The ud3p has extra copper cooling i think doesnt it? Curious though, what are you NB and NB reference voltages?
As long as you have direct cooling and your NB temps are low you should be fine. I run 506 daily, using a waterblock on the NB.

I'm not understanding the connection between your NB, RAM multiple and GTX460 overclocking. The OC on your Vid card should have nothing to do with those settings.

I know, its really weird, could just be conicidence. Any idea why i cant reach 900 mhz regardless of volts? Should i change pci frequency to 101?
do NOT touch PCI frequency unless you want to ruin things.
