this new mobo supports it, but i dont trust using it for overclocking. always seems like BIOS is the best way, right?

yep, I used windows to overclock once. It promptly froze and rebooted, BIOS is the only way to go.

I would say the BIOS is the best way to OC but Overdrive should work fine as well.

its just so time taking to restart, stab test restart stab.... but i do it the old fine bios way i think, feels more stabel

I use AMD Overdrive all the time and have never had issue with it. I overclocked my 955BE C2 to 3.93G stable using just AOD. Now if you need to mess with RAM timings and a few other settings than you will have to use the BIOS. Also, their are different versions of AOD. For example, the newest build wouldnt let me adjust the CPU multiplier (it maxed out at 16.5) so I simply downloaded an earlier release and all was well.

I have tried AOD and have never had it work properly for me. Bios does the same thing anyway and Ive been overclocking in the Bios for years.
