I THOUGHT someone stole my 570... (Update) - Page 3

I advise walking around and knocking on your neighbor's door until you find it. If it was me i would knock on every single door in my floor and check. You never know man.... Good luck!

I went around the whole apartment complex looking for it, hoping they just left it at the wrong door... but found nothing. My door is right on the main street, apartment 1, kinda hard to mistake it for another door... building number is clearly printed on the building too.

Who's going to be like, "Oh, yeah, I stole it, but since you put in all the effort to seek me out, here is your reward!" and then hand it back?

I think that someone expecting a package from UPS/FedEx, and it's scheduled for delivery, should set up a video camera and post it for the whole world to see how they operate!

I am in college, and i live in a small condo.... sometimes ups or who ever miss-delivers and my neighbors end up getting it. They usually keep it for me because i am seldom home.... Thats why i thought of knocking on the door, usually people are nice enough to not take something that isn't theirs. Depends on where you live i guess.

I think the guys just got a little rowdy during t-shirt time and were bored waiting for the cabs and stole it for fun. I bet its been spray tanned orange and has the haircut of a tool by now. My condolences.

I would definately go ahead and get the police involved. File a report that a $350 computer component was stolen from your threshhold!!!

Yeah, but you would figure since your name was on the package, they would knock on your door then and tell you they have recieved it. I know I wouldn't accept a package for someone, and not tell them. I mean, you're right, it was at least worth a try knocking, maybe some kid took it home and his parents were wondering where he just got this expensive looking thing. Chances are pretty slim though. I bought a fold out couch one time when I lived in an apartment, and left it in the lobby for maybe 2-3 minutes while I cleared the area it was going to have to squeeze through. When I made it back, this couple was already trying to make off with it. Brand new sofa, just delivered to the door, and they were like, "I thought someone was throwing it out!"
