ok so i need new ram

using the mobo in my sig i need to get some ram

now the thing is i need some ram that i will be able to just plug in and turn it on since i have no idea what im doing when it comes to ram timings and voltage and stuff like that

currently using generic ram so i want to remedy this asap

looking for 4 gb dual channel, and preferably relatively cheap... this computer has already cost me enough lol

the cheaper the better honestly, but probably around 50 bucks

like i said i just want something that i can plug in and play.. dont plan on overclocking or anything like that

just dont want generic ram lol... kinda defeats the purpose of the rest of the system

How about a set of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series (1600MHz/CAS 8)? You can't really beat them for $55.

Edit:
These aren't bad either, at $35 (after MIR). I'd normally recommend G.Skill over PNY, though.

This Team kit $45 is a very decent overclocker, has been able to do 1600 CL8 - undervolted from 1.65 to 1.5V - and more.

You will still have to set things in the BIOS because the board probably will just go to a default setting. But that is easy.
