Sapphire RMA - Page 2

They don't have to give you a new one, just a working one that's like or similar to what you had. You're getting a good deal cuz often times they'd just give you something that's crappier but comparable in performance so you can't complain.

Any opinions?
Take it. Your being upgraded and it's better than not having a card and buying a completely new one unless you have the cash and want another one.

However you could ask them if you can be upgraded with some extra cash out of pocket to a new card like AMD 6000 series card and see what they say?

If they don't let you upgrade to a new one with extra cash I'd take the card they are offering until you decide to buy a new one later down the road. What have you got to lose? At least they are standing behind their product warranty. Sign of a great company.

Again, let us know what they said, I'm curious.

I'll give that a try and see what happens.

No luck on the upgrade, so they are sending the 4890 Vapor X Card. After thinking about it I am pleased with the offer.

As long as the card is in good working order I am good. I'm sure I can find a use for it somewhere. Probably just hang on to it for a backup in case I have issues with my 6950.

Thanks for all the replies and info.

That's cool, Dkillett. Good idea. Congrats on your AMD 6850 it's a great card and a nice upgrade.
