Hacks already used in Crysis 2 Demo.. makes me MAD! - Page 2

Yeah, I was playing last night and one one map there was a guy who scored 22-0 or something, he killed me three times where I was hiding behind something, cloaked, and he was looking straight at me without possibly being able to know I was there. Killcam confirmed he wasn't using nanovision. Definitely hacks.

Meh, the gameplay was rather disappointing anyway - dodgy hit-detection, OP melee, not enough inaccuracy when shooting full auto while aiming, and too little accuracy when shooting from the hip, even at closer ranges.

The above means that when you want to shoot someone, you have to zoom in and spray full auto at his head. 'tap-tap' shooting is useless because the other guy will be spraying full auto and kill you first. And the fact that you still have to right-click aim when someone is 2 meters away in order to be able to hit him is retarded.

I think I'll pass and see what brink, portal 2, and BF3 bring.
Sticking with BFBC2 for now.

Heh. I played through Crysis and Warhead a couple weeks ago, just as a prep for this. Then I played the demo. I was confused on how bad of a downgrade I felt.

I haven't completely lost hope for the final version, but the only way I'll pay money is when the cd key prices drop like mad after lack of sales.

That video is pretty hilarious.

Hacks were out on the first day btw. Took one guy 2 hours to make some.

So in the end who wins? Dice..
Crytek runs second for now til i get my hands on sandbox and i'm gonna get together a group of modders i know and make this a better game than them.
Seriously, it's not that bad. Looking at crysis dx9 high graphics, they are pretty comparable to crysis 2. Crysis had the better water, but, crysis 2 has better lighting. It also runs pretty well which is nice and the smaller maps means that you won't be running around trying to find someone to kill XD I believe the demo was a response to the outrage over the 360 demo and somewhat to the leak although it was likely one of their employees who leaked it

Aim Assist only works if you have a controller plugged in from what I hear. I just disabled it before starting incase the above is incorrect

Are you comparing SP to MP or MP to MP? I found crysis 2 MP more fun to play than crysis MP

While you are correct about the spraying, some of the weapons have a lot of recoil. I can't recall the class name but it was the one with the big gun to start with. I had to shoot bursts because otherwise I was going way off target. For covert, you zoom in, so, again no spraying. It's only for assault, possibly scout that you need to do so

Because Prophet, upon Crytek Corporation's orders, gimped the suit so any little 12 yr old kid could use it. Effectively crippling the suit making it as good as stealthy paper armor to all the hackers out there.

GG Crytek, some may fall and still buy your POS game, ever since the SP leak which was terribad, the MP is terribad... why spend $60 of my earned money to play such a crappy game? Just because you make it look pretty doesn't mean squat when I'm getting shot through walls and getting mass teleported, kthx.

BF3 is where it's at.

Well, no anti-hacky code, no punk-buster... just LameSpy match making... not like Crysis was really renowned for its multi anyways... same complaint on their other titles.

Must be an American thing...

Played on some Aussie Sydney servers, no hackers, just douchebags using cheap tactics!
I don't see what the big deal is, almost every beta, demo or new release has hacks on the first day or soon after. BFBC2, CoD and pretty much every other popular game.. I'm not defending Crytek but people need to stop raging...

EDIT: The lack of recoil is pretty funny though since that is not a hack xD
