How do i install a new bois? is there software to install it? The last time i done it, it was 6 years ago and i rememeder putting it on a floppy. Have things changed?

Bios Update of the MS 7091 mainboard (Rev 2.0).

+++Instructions to update your system bios +++

1. Unzip the downloaded file into a created folder at the partition E: of your harddisk.

2. Afterwards restart your PC with the Application-/ Support-CD.

3. At the MS Windows CD-ROM-Bootmenue choose "Boot from CD-ROM".

4. After that select "MS-DOS Prompt" in the Application-/Support-CD Startmenue .

5. Finally execute the autoexec.bat file which can now be found at Partition C: into your specified folder.

6. Now start the update procedure by pressing any key.

7. After the bios update please reboot your system.

wow this bios was a btich to update on my Medion...particularly because I had a new harddrive and pretty much the new bios was meant for the standard harddrive setup

i have an msi ms7091.If anyone knows can you tell what cpu can the motherboard support? (current cpu pentium 4 630 3,00Ghz)

MS-7091 uses i915P which supports 5xx and 6xx series P4's. With bios update you may be able to use a 571 or 672 (3.8GHz)!
