Allow me to ask a English word about water cooling

Hi all,

A normal water cooling system has one or more radiators. But I'd like to try to use a machine which can cool down the coolant instead of radiators.

This machine usually is used to decease the temperature of the water in fish bowl/fish jar, not designed for computer water cooling. I wanna use this machine to actively cool down my system. I believe this is better than using fans+radiators.

Can someone please tell me what that machine is in English and where to buy? I just immigrated to North America.

I'd appreciate if someone give me any opinion and share your idea about this kind of cooling method.

dude... you are talking about a chillers. yes it will work but why the hell do you want to do it... unless you have a very good chiller and it can get to 5degree cell or even less then you are waisting you time.

Why not? This method may or may not be useful. To be honest, I don't know how useful it is, but I want to try. And the people who have the same idea can gain some experience from me since I'll post the result after I build it.

Proper insulation is Essential! yes chillers work,i use one myself.

the BTU rating is important as you can overload the compressor if you have selected a chiller too weedy for the task.In terms of aquarium chillers you need over 1000w of cooling potential to be within a safe range.

The power bill goes up drastically when using these though.

My 5800 BTU chiller keeps the the cpu and 470s silent, plus of course it has the added benefit if massively increasing overclocking potential. It is mounted outside so noise isnt an issue.

You must spend alot of time on insulation though as condensation will happen if your not careful!

Did you mean the font?
Sorry I'll make it smaller. You don't like large font? It's different between here and BBS in my country.
