Asus motherboard for AMD x6 black edition, TurboV evo

Thread Starter
Hey guys, im new to forums and I've been looking around and thought of asking you some newb stuff since I just assembled my first computer yesterday and instantly got interested in overclocking

So the thing is I got M4A89GTD PRO/USB3, AM3, AMD890GX, SATA 6Gbps, DDR3 MB with AMD 6 core 1090T (black edition) which is precisely the core that MB is made for.

I've seen alot posts from people, telling how bad program OC is, and this MB has this TurboV evo thing, and it auto OC'd from 3.2 ghz to 3.72...ghz and just after assembling this and OCing it, after restart and happy running for few hours it simply turned off as if someone plugged power cable off. well I opened it and it got stuck to express gate.. which I deleted from programs (it seems to load it still, thought) and now im wondering, is this program really good for this kind of OC? should I remove it and how do I remove OC made by turboV evo? is it simply enough that I remove the program, or do I need to undo the OC somehow beforehand? This may sound stupid question but I seem not to find answer nor figure out how to remove this OC. I'd remove it and made it from bios if you guys told you'r opinion whether I should manually do the OC.
I just want to make system overall faster, thanks in advance and my apologies if this thread (even after double checking) and it's questions are answered or stated already.

OC via the bios, and dont go from 3.2 to 3.7 right off the bat, you need to read up on how to OC properly, just baby steps! and make sure that everytime you bump/change something that you stress test with either intel burn test(i use it to check inbetween OC bumps), OCCT, or prime95(i find it to be the most thorough but it takes the longest so i only use it when ive settled on an OC)
