Well, it definitely can't be cooler in the temperature meaning, I gave you the load temps above The other is personal preference.

Both are very capable cards. One thing to note about the Gigabyte is that the OC version doesn't have voltage control. I would say go for the one that is cheaper or the one you prefer, both Gigabyte and HIS are reputable companies.
