Is EAC still the goldstandard?

What software are you using to rip cd's for lossless file storage? I have used EAC in the past, but am curious if there is something better for .wav extraction. Something that tags files and packages in .flac would be great if anyone has suggestions.

Ironically, I just installed AutoFlac for EAC. I'll test it later. Have been having issues with FLAC in Win7 x64. Tried registering the .dll file, which succeeds, but still no luck encoding. Have used traders little helper for flac compression, but would like to maintain Artist, Album, and Track tags.
