This translates to roughly $700 for the people speculating. A GTX 580 costs around 420 euros and an HD 6970 is about 350 euros for reference.

unless you have a mobo that has limited pci-e slots...i dont see the justification for this...better to buy a higher end mobo

I agree. I'd just get 2 6950s instead anyways. I don't really see the point of those dual GPU cards anymore, especially since they break the PCI-e specs anyways.....
