In jan, I was ready to buy a new pc and after a friend recommended cyberpower I started looking at the different builds. Right when the sandy bridge recall came out I refrained from purchase and found the forums at cyber power. And to be honest it seems kind of shady.
Almost every component on every pc is sh**. you literally have to upgrade most everything from the ram to the cooler to the psu. and if you don't then you get crappy parts that may only work for bit or not at all. But that is what bothered me most. i don't know how to build a computer and if I am forking over 800+ for one of your preconfigured systems then I expect it to work and not be filled with crap so that I have to pay to upgrade everything.and then the cost is 1500+.
If for some reason you do go with CP make sure you post your build specs on the forum and people will chime in and let you know the crap parts to switch out.
so now I am on the route to building my own system. I will be getting quality parts for mostly the same price. I am using advice from this place and this
And the internet is a awesome place for info.
I hope this helps
