+0.1V overvoltage needed?

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
Hi,

I overclocked my 3.06GHz Intel E7600 to 3.45GHz and my system seems very stable. Do I need the following settings in BIOS (I presently have these setteings):
PCI-E Overvoltage => +0.1V
FSB Overvoltage => +0.1V (rated FSB is now 1200MHz instead of 1066)
(G)MCH Overvoltage => +0.1V
Or should I set them to +0.0V? (BIOS says that even +0.1V overvoltage can damage chipset, PCI-E card etc....)

Thanks

If you're stable, then no.

Other voltages won't hurt, but don't bump your GPU's voltage up, it might fry. And sense your at 3,5Ghz so easily, try to go fot the 4Ghz!
