Stay away from the Razer Naga

Whatever you do stay away from the Razer Naga mouse, i have had mine less than 4 months and the laser eye just died on me, the rest of the mouse works fine but the laser eye is dead, i can hookup any other mouse and it's fine....

while i can certainly understand being frustrated, having one bad experience isn't a very good reason to blacklist a product. NO company or product is perfect. The same problem you had, other people have had with countless other mice.

RMA it and get another one if you really liked it. Now, if that one gives you the same issue 4-6 months in, we'll talk. Until then, don't be so eager to jump down their throat.

What an illogical point of view. If you had 10 nagas and 9/10 of them failed then maybe it would makes sense.

I agree with Cyborg.

I've never had any problems with Razer hardware. And though I've only had two mice and a keyboard, none of them have issues with me. even the Lycosa, which seemingly gets so much crap from everyone doesn't have any problems on my end.

tl;dr:
You were unlucky, don't blame the product. Bad batches do exist.

Every Razer I have had was so worn at the top of the mouse the finish came off. I have had 5 and all 5 have done it.
