first of all i know it's cheaper and had been used or returned.

Manufacturer refurbished is when the speakers did not pass quality check and were sent back to get fixed. Over the process, the company is forced to sell them as refurbished.

The other refurbished is when the speakers have been RMA'd and repaired, so they are in working condition. Something like the drivers might be new but the rest (like the PCB in the volume controll or whatever) is used.

There is not a ig difference in life expectancy between refurbished an new, its a matter of what component in the speakers will give up firrst. So since some components in the speakers have been previously used, I'd expect the life expectancy to be a little shorter, but they should last you a good amount of years

refurbished just means fixed. they should be just fine.

One good thing about refubs is that they are all individually tested, unlike most line products.
