If you are getting the Seagate 500gb hard drive, I would get a 7200.12 and not the 7200.9. The 500gb 7200.12's are very solid and fast drives, awesome for raid. Otherwise build looks great!

edit: Are those Thermaltake coolers any good? I'd get a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ with 2 fans push/pull and a cheapo fan controller with a pci slot adjustment knob.

Also would definitely go with a different power supply, here is a quote from a review:

"According to our methodology, Thermaltake TR2 RX 750 W cannot deliver its labeled wattage. It burned after one minute delivering 750 W at a room temperature a little bit above 45º C. Thinking that we may have got a defective unit, we asked Thermaltake another sample, which burned exactly the same way. In both units the component that burned was one of the +12 V rectifiers."

Im still on the fence about that cooler to be honest, some reviews are good, some not so good, and thanks for the advice on the HD ill look into it

John

Edit: Hmm thats weird about the PSU

What will you be doing with this build? If your planning on getting a gts 450 then I am assuming it isn't graphical work? The build looks good but I would check the cooler, I haven't seen many people using the one you listed. I am personally very happy with Cooler Master Hyper 212+ and I got it for $20 a while ago.

are you going to overclock it at all?

No major graphical work, SEO, and Web Design mostly, any graphical work is done with photo shop, and a few other editors, but nothing a low cost graphics card cant handle.

The SEO programs we run, are multi threaded, take a ton of memory, and require some serious multi tasking, sometimes we have 4-6 instances of the same program, doing multiple things.

Looks really good, but doesn't list 1155 as a compatible socket? and according to the microcenter website in houston, they dont have any cpu coolers that fit the 1155 socket right now.

edit: http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0347893

doesnt list 1155
