Hi
I am from the uk and looking to build a sandy bridge gaming rig, My budget is £1000 and would like to get the most out of the money. Also do want have sli in the future so i am going for 850w. All this computer will be doing is playing games and browsing. All the products must be from this site as i am going to use there payment option for pay it back in 9 months. Dont worry about windows 7 all your doing is build the tower. Don't mind if you add out of stock motherboards as most of the sandy bridge boards are being replaced by the B3 version.

no to be rude, but it would be better to organize one yourself as it would give you the essential skill of being able to distinguish what is compatible and what isn't and will downgrade your build.

We can give you guidelines and once you think you have the list in mind, post them here and we will help you from there.

looks good, only thing i would change is adding 2x samsung f3 500GB and raiding them in 0 for boot drive and apps the rest can be media storage and what not.

These cases are also good, why would you want that massive behemoth; fractal design - R3 or lian-li ab05N. Plus they are also cheaper so you can upgrade other stuff

I was referring to the original poster, Just looked at your screen shot, 2 1tb @ 7200 raid 0 would definitely be faster than a single 2 tb 5900 drive.

for a thousand pound computer, I reccomend the biggest case you can find and then fill it with lead or similar.
I would try to find you some bargains but I am across the pond from you. Looks pretty good though
