Fairly new to Overclocking... but have read a TON!!

Thread Starter
Just wanted to make my first post on the forum. Been a member for a while but have never posted. I currently have an i7 920 HTPC as my main home computer/server, which is what got me into the overclocking scene. Before I started to tinker with it though, I wanted to go grass roots and OC a 478. So i went out and picked up a P4C800E and 3.4 Prescott. About a month later... here I am. Still learning everyday and finding that I'm having even more questions then I did before.

Hope you guys can help!

Thanks. I actually just finished getting my 478 stable. I'm not super thrilled with the OC, but I'm guessing that it's got more room then the 3.83 I've got out of it right now. It sure is different then OCing the i7.

Yeah, welcome to the forum! Good to see another Washingtonian. You should have a lot of headroom with the i7.
