asus gtx 560 ti or pny gtx 470 ? - Page 2

That toms hardware review is rather inaccurate considering the 470 out performs the 5870. I'm not sure about the rest but that alone makes me not trust it.

Not at stock... once overclocked possibly depending on the overclock. Still, the gtx560 should have been on the same level as the hd5870 since they are almost equal in performance.

When the 470 originally came out the 5870 beat the 470. After a few driver releases the 470 was either beating or on par with the 5870 at stock clocks.

I'M getting a new power supply tomorrow... That cruddy dynex is giving me problems.... You guys think a thermaltake 600watt power supply will be enough for my whole system?!? What do you guys recommend... I have a budget of 80 dollars for a power supply.. Any advise will help..

Ohh and I have a question does a power supply bottleneck performance like hardware not running to there full potential ? I'm thinking of keeping this now.. Not getting that pnu gtx 470, this 560 ti looks sexy in my pc

good luck with your new build.
I have the GTX 570 version of your card with the new Direct CU II cooling... and it runs super cool and quiet. Under a full 900MHz load, it only hits 60C when folding. and the RPM for the fans is only 1380 (What my GTX 460 was at idle)

I think you'll really like your new 560 once you get it situated.

What do you guys think about a 650 watt tr2 ex thermaltake power supply? I got this at frys for 105 dollars... My asus 560ti is running beautifully than my 400w dynex

I overclock my 955 to 3.9ghz v1.5 and my card to 1000/core mem/4200 vcore1.115 card is running like a champ.. Temps are below 65c .. But I'm still running tests if it's fully stable keep you guys updated and screenshots give me hints on anything to help me achieve more performance

I like Thermaltake PSUs...

I think you'll be good with that PSU with your rig
