V6GT vs Hyper 212+

Thread Starter
I currently have the CM V6GT, Out of curiousity, which cooler would perform better, lets say they were the same, which would you choose?
If they were at the sampe price? the V6GT

Since they are not ($30 vs $60), a hyper 212+ is a better choice, put some good fans and there you go.

212 the performance gap is little. The price gap however is big!

the v6 is a better cooler, but the 212+ is good cooler that is alot cheaper

212+ is better to get for the price.

At that $60+ USD price, you may want to get a Silver Arrow or D14 instead.

have to agree with the above posts, the hyper 212+ has amazing price/cooling ratio, definitely excellent cooling performance for it's price. Just whack 2 fans in push/pull with the money you'd save and it will be pretty good.

Yes, that would be a viable option for the OP but he might have some trouble finding one at $60. Plus they're heavy
