IME 3.0 or Steelseries ikari optical?

Is the IME 3.0 as good as people say? Does it have much prediction?

Ikari optical has lower max speed on 1600 (which is high compered it when on 400-800),it has prediction/angle snapping/FreeMove, delay in-the-fly switching and high LoD.

the 3.0 in the new models have bad metrials and Loose Buttons, and also buggy scroll wheel that will freak you out if you jump/duck with it.(you will jump randommaly, even without touching it.)
the 3.0 DOEST NOT have prediction, and its good if you dont go over 1.55ms speed when you moving the mouse, beacause if you pass it - you'll get alot of negative accelration.

I just need a decent optical mouse. Tired of lazer ****. It doesnt seem to do it for me. Best mouse for me ever was the original DA. So im giving optical another crack.

Seems like you are a palm gripper then. The new deathadder black edition or mionix naos 3200 should be perfect for you

Ive got a DA respawn and its a huge let down compared to my original. Ive actually had 2 DA respawns. Lift off issues are through the roof and im not prepared to fix it myself. Yes i looked at the naos 3200. It has the avago 3080 sensor. What is this sensor like i keep forgetting lol. PLus it has lift off of 3.5mm. that is very high.

Ive had alot and they just seem twitchy and not as accurate as my deathadder did. flick shots on my DA 1800 were perfect. With a lazer mouse they just dont seem to happen as good. Not as pinpoint.

I can really understand you, but I'm sorry to say this, but DA seems to be your only choice since all the goods optical have prediction/low max speed.

I would wait for fixed CM spawn's hardware / PureTrak's mouse. (and TBH, I'm in the same situation as yours)
but I'm trying to fix the 3.5g and upload here review about it when fixed. [how this compered to stock non-fixed]

BUT (and its HUGE BUT), if you can live with prediction - you have alot of great mice to go with - mx518, ikari optical, A4Tech X-710BHA,4Tech X-760H, naos 3200, Roccat Kova,Zowie EC1/2.

without: intelli 1.1,WMO1.1 (the WMO [no 1.1] use also the same sensor?),intellimouse 3.0, DA's [1800ver;3500ver,black ver.] and soon valor and fixed hardware CM spawn.

Well i will give the scotch tape a go as its lift off which is stopping me from using my DA. If that doesnt work then i will get a IME 3.0 i hear so many good things about this mouse. So what is this new sensor like that the CM spawn uses? what are the issues people are complaining about with it? It also states it more designed for claw grippers. Im a hybrid of claw and palm. And why does it have to be starting at 800 dpi. No 400 dpi. Just curious. Do people use the respawn drivers from razer or the 1800 dpi version drivers?

me too, kind of mixed plam-claw.

the CM Spawn uses the new avago 3090 - which is kind of "newer" and "fixed" ADNS-S3888 (DA's "3.5g").
the complains about is was that the new hardware of the mouse mess the tracking, and it jitters on 800cpi.

but the most reason I would not buy this mouse is beacause of the same.

also, the avago engeenrs seems not like to 400/450 steps, but the PureTrak's mouse will start on 500. wink.gif
