me too, kind of mixed plam-claw.

the CM Spawn uses the new avago 3090 - which is kind of "newer" and "fixed" ADNS-S3888 (DA's "3.5g").
the complains about is was that the new hardware of the mouse mess the tracking, and it jitters on 800cpi.

but the most reason I would not buy this mouse is beacause of the same.

So you wouldnt by it due to jitter at 800 dpi? or no 400dpi settings? the mouse does sound good apart from these 2 issues. CM need to come up with a driver to fix it really.

the jitter is actually beacause of the hardware which also mess of the tracking.
and since 800cpi is high for me TBH, feel alot faster when you get used to 400/450 for along time.

Yea, I'm also not a big fan of the CPI options of the A3090 too, But TBH there aren't many situations where 800 CPI as the lowest option causes problems.

Completely different. Scotch tape is clear. Masking tape is a beige type of color. They're not even used for the same purposes.
In progress.

I dont understand, lasers not doing it you just want optical.
most laser mice i've used blow away old optical mice

mabye you should look at a trackball type mouse like the logitec marble or something along that line.

there are drivers for more percise movement when you get closer to an object and for steping speeds depending on how fast your moving
