@Edit. IBT on Max level didn't fail, it was successful. But Prime seems to fail no mather what IBT says. I gonna test more atleast 5-6 hours Large FFT's 500x6 to see if it is really stable as Don have said.
What are your settings for Cpu PLL, Fsb Term./Vtt, Cpu/Gtl ref and vNB?
Or easier it would be if you could get a screen shot/photo of your bios settings.. then i could give you better advices on what to do or try

It's pretty near to prime95 stable since it already ran nearly for 2 hours..
IBT for me never was so hard to get stable.. but after i started using this method it hasn't been a problem since. If Prime is stable, then getting IBT stable is done only by adding vcore. Pretty foolproof method.

Just leave IBT and vcore alone until you get your board stable with high fsb speed. You'll need IBT only for fast testing stable oc and finding the right vcore for your cpu only.

If it has failed Blend, there is no need to run other tests. The next step is to tweak a single value, and test again.

You need to focus on one thing at a time, you're kind of all over the place. Stick with one test and then change a single setting to see if it improves. If anything, try OCCT again since if it fails, it will fail quicker and save you time over using hours of Prime blend. If it doesn't fail, go back to prime blend, take don's suggestions of changing a single value within the range he gave, then re-test until you find the value that makes it more stable.

^True.

I also told earlier to change one setting at the time to see if it goes better or worse.
Your settings seem pretty close right and it already run prime for so long without failing.

For what i've seen on P5Q boards you should disable DRAM Static Read Control and Read Training atleast if overclocking your ram. Ai Clock Twister to Manual and under that you'll find Performance Level and set it to 10. These settings are commonly used in P5Q oc's to get stable.
More useful info and help you can also find from this thread:

http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...turbo-pro.html

I think you'll find your problem at this point from either Fsb Term. Volt,Cpu PLL or vNB.
I spend a lot of time changing those settings +/-.02 one by one to see how they effect the stability.

Ok, 6+ hours of Prime95 Blend test no errors. With the current settings : 10 performance level on the mem 1.56 PLL and the system seems to be stable and with 500x6. Now i gonna push the multiplier again at x8, if it fails i will just up the vcore. I will update what has happened when i get back from work. Cheers!

Push it 1 notch at the time. Much easier to keep it stable

I think i can contribute to this thread

I have my e8400 C0 @ 4000 (534x7.5) and it´s 24/7 stable.

E8400 Rev. C0 @ 4000 MHz
Asus P5E-WS PRO bios modded to Maximus Formula
4x1GB Corsair Dominator(CM2X1024-8500C5D) @ 1070 5.5.5-18

The rest of my setup can be seen in the pics
I hope this will help you get to the 4g

Maybe you can get a little info in my thread

You should up your CPU multiple, Dane, and shoot for 4.2+. 7.5 at that high FSB is not going to get you any benefit in performance, and it will contribute to shortened lifespan for your mobo.

I know

But i really really like fsb OC, and the higher the better IMO

I´m having some trouble keeping this chip cool(esp. Now that one my fans is dead) even @ 1.27500 i hit 68-69c on the cores in IBT

Higher clock = more voltage = more heat = i´m skewered

My system failed after 4h36min at 8x500 1.25vcore and the same settings from last time except 10 level performance and 1.56 PLL. With those settings it ran for more than 6+ hours at 6x500 before i've stopped it. Should i set the multiplier now at 9 and 445 with higher vcore or?
