I'm using Chrome and whenever something flash (YouTube, etc.) is on my webpage, it goes transparent and I see whatever is behind it on my desktop.

I had the same problem on my macbookpro. I tried everything, finally I just reformatted it as it was already a clean install and wasn't worth the time. Maybe reinstall flash player?

You can also install Windows and run your Internet browser out of there.

Flash plug in is probably borked. Have you tried reinstalling flash?

I had similar issues, It got resolved in Chrome Updates. This usually happens in the transition of updates. It works once you close Chrome completely and reopen it.
