What kind of budget? That MOBO means all new proc and new memory. $400-500 upgrade if the rest of the system is ok. Just upgrading your board could net you big gains while keeping your Q6600.

Also you could offset the upgrade by selling the parts you will no longer need. Sounds like the only desireable part would be the Q6600.

I have Q6600 G0 and P5Q deluxe + HD6950 . by ocing to 3.6 I got 30% frame rate increase in most CPU Demanding games , Q6600 with fsb 450 almost equals with core i7 950 (default) in gaming .
