Antec 902 Fan Halpz

Just put together my first rig and I am all kinds of proud of it, as most are, but I ran into one snag. I went with the H70 liquid cooling route for my i7 because I didn't want heat to be an issue. I love it! Love love love it, minus the fact the stock fans are annoyingly loud, absolutely love it. Well the only issue is now there is a problem where my side fan should fit. The fan on the side panel and the fan off the radiator don't allow for enough clearance to get both in there. As it sits now, I am just not using the side panel fan.

Have any of you run into this same problem and what did you do? I was thinking about shaving the fan attached to the radiator with a dremel, just enough so it'll fit snug with the side panel fan. Before I go cutting away, I was just hoping for some insight as to alternative solutions.

Pix included for viewing pleasure!

Put one of the fans outside the case? That's what I did with mine.

Either stick one of the fans on the outside of the case, or sand down that little piece of plastic. It won't do much harm if you do end up deciding to use your dremel anyways. (Especially if you plan on never putting a fan on the side panel.)

Thanks for the speedy response! I think I'll throw the fan on the outside for now and see how I like that. Worse comes to worse I'll just dremel off the side of the fan attached to the radiator.

*Side note: any ideas as how to cut down dust coming in from the radiator fans? There is no filter there and that makes me sadface I cleaned off my radiator the other day and just got sick seeing all the dust on it.

**reaper~: what after market fans are you using? I noticed they aren't the stock ones. God knows the stock ones are SOOOOOOOOO loud so anything to cut down that noise would be gladly accepted haha
