I'm puzzled at how I overclock on this thing, its completely different looking in the bios compared to my old gigabyte. I tried their safetey overclock in the bios and it overclocked only 5 percent and it gave me nothing. It basically made 3.4ghz into 3.57ghz...

AHHH, I turned it to 20x and left everything else on auto. I've hit 4ghz with ease and no crashes yet! Should I have lowered any voltages because I haven't? Wow, I can't believe I hit 4ghz! This feels great! I DID IT!

Keep an eye on the Vcore, I have the same board and I get a .03 variance. I've contacted ASUS about it and they don't know what to think about it either. It sucks because I also hit 4ghz but don't want to up the Vcore anymore because it hits 1.56 as it sits right now with the stupid voltage spikes.

I can hit 4.2ghz on the board but than it runs in low 40's when on idle which I don't know if thats safe or not.

What I've read is the Phenom II's temp threshold is 45-55*c according to AMD and other sources like tomshardware and anadtech. But many people hit 60*c on prime and are fine with it. Just depends on how safe you want to play it.
