Who design motherboards ?

Is not the first time that I buy a mobo and have to remove something because lack of space normally due poor design.

I understand the diversity of equipment out there but come on.

I don't know the rest of u but how many times have u acquire new hardware and have to take out something out because,,,(the sata connector interfere with the placement of your video card).

MSI 790FX GD70- If you are using all the SATA connector and have 3 Video Cards one of the VC is going to block pci-e x1.The 2 blue SATA interfere with the placement of the card. If you put a video card in the last PCI-e it will block all the cool stuff.(OC Dial, Clr CMOS button, Reset, power button).

ASRock 890fx Deluxe 4. Clear CMOS Switch is the back panel(Great) they move 2 SATA connectors to the lower corner(great -Maybe-) Northbrige heatsink is huge(great) but i lost that pci-e x1 for my sound card. Put my sound card in the 2 pci-e x1 . all is OK until i see that the 2 SATA connectors that are in the corner are facing the wrong way the cable interfere with the placement of the video card.

Does anyone actually have a mobo that allow you to connect a sound card (PCI-x 1.0) and 2-3(series5xxx-6xxx)video cards without compromising a SATA port or the sound card.

Im the only that experience this ?

there are a lot of boards now that have 90° port that don't extend into the card area...

more importantly, why buy motherboards with interference issues when you know you are going to have them before you put everything together...

there are also 90° SATA cables...
