Source SDK L4D Elevator problem

Thread Starter
I have been working on a map for the past week now and tomorrow I have to show my game level design class what I have done so far. For this level I have 3 elevators. Now, I got the 1st elevator to work flawlessly. However, when I try to use either of the 2nd 2 they do some weird stuff and iv tried all I know to fix them. Iv deleted them totally and started over from scratch twice already and still have the same issue. I would like help figuring out what is wrong. I need this done tonight. I will stream my PC live over the internet so whoever is helping me can see what is going on in real time. You can add me on steam (Grecoappolis). Thanks, Tim.

I dont see how they could be. They are all named differently ie: 1, 2, 3 as well as all the logic is named differently.

Upload it into a .zip file here. My brother can help.

He wants to know if you have set the path_tracks?

What kind of elevator is? Is a large elevator, small, pre-made or homemade buttons? How often do you check it for errors.

I hope .rar is fine. I didn't use path tracks. Setting up elevators that way is usually buggy. But I guess im eating my words now...

EDIT: Just to clarify I am not a novice mapper. Iv made countless maps in SDK before and I have used the path_tracks to do elevators long ago. But I stopped doing it that way cause of a lot of issues I had. Instead I started doing elevators the way the valve dev team actually does them. And I mean I got 1 of them to work perfectly fine this time so I honestly dont understand what the problem could be. I mean it could be conflicts somehow but I dont see how there could be any conflicts anywhere...

Did you put any cubemaps? he cant check because hes compiling it.

EDIT:
We cant help. We dont have L4D. He says its a nice map though.

Why not dump the elevators and go for a flight of stairs?

From MRK's Bro :Have you tried to make a separate elevator then tested and then put into the area? Because that may work but if it doesnt then it wasnt meant to have more than 1 elevator, but im wrong because ive played plenty of maps that have multi elevs so see if my theory works then tell me

Well you can have more than 1 elevator in a map. Iv seen maps with more than 1. And yes iv deleted and remade the 2 faulty elevators twice now and both times they each have the same exact problem while the 1st one works perfectly fine.

have you tried to group, copy, then rename all of the entities and see if it works ive got 100 dollars saying youve done this and you will make me look stupid

also is there any difference in the shafts of the elevators, like anything that will block it, sorry if im wrong ive never worked with elevators on my maps but that could be one problem.
