Crysis 2 Demo (Pc) Footage: I Need Some Advice

Thread Starter

I recorded the footage using fraps (at 60 fps) in 1920x1080. I had the game on the hardcore setting (highest graphical setting available on the demo). I rendered the video as an Mp4 in 720p.

The video quality is meh on youtube at 720p and the audio is poop.

Any advice on what format/audio I should use to render the videos as?

thanks!

I just use any video converter. As with any of the settings, the higher the better. I just use this because it cuts my raw footage down to half the size or more so I'm not spending hours uploading.

Settings:

Codec: xvid
frame size: 1280x720
vid bitrate: 4000
framerate: 29.97
audio codec: mp3
audio bitrate: 96
sample rate: 22050

Youtube is going to butcher anything you upload. I think if people that pay get higher quality settings.

DivX is a great delivery codec, and it's in an AVI container too. Give that a try.

But render at full resolution and at a high bit rate (5000kbps or more)

my videos come out pretty clean.

Edit: Darn I forgot what program I used for this... had so many i was testing out.
