Weird problem, need help

Somehow my 24 pin power cable came loose today and fell out of it's slot. So my system shut down. After firmly reattaching it my system would boot up, but wouldn't send a signal to my monitors. So I took out the CMOS battery to reset it. Upon rebooting after resetting the CMOS I heard what sounded like a helicopter coming out of my speaks. I've isolated them from anything that could be causing interference. Also, since the CMOS reset my CPU utilization is going nuts. Where I use to hover around 6%, I now am up around 40%.

I've flashed the Bios, updated every driver that I can, tried different headers for front USB, unplugged frontal HD Audio headers, redone HD light/power/reset pins, unplugged the speakers completely (which solves the helicopter sound, obviously, but not CPU utilization).

Any suggestions?

Mobo: Asus Sabertooth
CPU: Intel i7 960
GPU: x2 580 in SLI

To add: when I plug in USB headphones I get no sound out of them at all, but the helicopter sound continues from the speakers.
