Best HDD for games and separate HDD for storage?

Thread Starter
So I'm thinking of going with 3 drives for my next upgrade. SSD for OS and 2 separate HDDs for games and storage. For games, I'd say I need a fast 640GB - 1TB drive and for storage, the best 2TB drive. Would there be a noticeable difference between low rpm and high rpm drives for storage purposes?

Higher rpm means faster for all drives I would assume but the price for performance past 7200 isn't worth it I don't think. I have seen many people recommending the samsung spinpoint f3's lately which seem to be a good drive to get. Thinking of getting one myself for games and fraps.

Go with a good SATA II (or if you have the capability, SATA III) SSD for OS -- ~40-60GB. A nice WD Caviar Black 500GB for games. and then a 1-2TB for storage. I've got a somewhat similar setup.
