Found a Mech KB in my basement - Page 2

Thread Starter
Well, I've discovered that it is in fact not a (fully) mech keyboard. It has the standard mech stuff like having a metal plate behind the keys, however the switches seem to be a spring on top of a rubber dome...Which is interesting as the switches look like mech switches from the top....Still feels better than my lycosa though, just because of the spings lol

Edit:Oh ho... found this:http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/mai...su_fkb4700.htm appears that it is actually a mechanical keyboard that uses a rubber dome base

This isn't it, but it looks just like it. Obviously I've modded this keyboard...
Those things aren't mechanicals. They're rubber domes with sliders.

Whoah - is it St Patty's day already!
Over in Ireland we have a thing called St. Paddy's day. It seems that on the same day, Americans celebrate a burger or something.
