Searching for a FPS mouse

Thread Starter
As you can see I'm in search for a new mouse.
I'm currently using a Logitech G5 since 2005 and I'm looking for an upgrade.
I've been yearning for an upgrade lately because quite frankly I'm sick of it.
I'm looking for a very accurate mouse with at least 2 side-buttons on the left side.
This one seems to be a problem when shooting still targets in the distance.

Example: As I'm using a sniper in BC2 I have a hard time getting my crosshair in the perfect position, it wants to skip a few pixels too high or too far over. The result is that it takes me longer to get my shot lined up and has gotten me killed dozens of times because of it.

Requirements
-Under 80 USD
-Must be from a site that delivers to the U.S. (tigerdirect.com, newegg.com, etc.)
-NO Razer products [I've had nothing but bad experiences with their products]
-Must be wired

Misc.
-I use palm and fingertip grip
-Is to be used on a 23" 1920x1080 monitor
-I prefer side buttons [melee and voice chat is what I usually bind]
-I prefer a mouse around the size of a G5/G500 or bigger
-I use high sensitivity - it takes 2 inches for me to scroll across my screen, and about 3 in game to do a 180 degree turn.
-I'm playing BFBC2, Dead Space 2, Crysis, Mirrors Edge, and the Half-Life series at the moment, I'll be using this mouse for Portal 2, Battlefield 3 as well.

Any suggestions would be great!

G500 would be the obvious choice but the mionix naos 3200 is an amazing mouse and I can easily recommend that for a palm grip gamer. Its build with high quality materials unlike the Razer mice

+1 Logitech G500

Made a macro for a touble-tap shot in setpoint, bound it to one of the side buttons. Say hello AK/M4 double tap and really really fast dualies spam in CS:S

I've gone round a corner and ripped up five people with the dualies trick

So far the G500 is looking good.
Logitech is accepting trade-ins as well.
I could send in my old G5, get a 20% discount on the G500 and buy it for $56.
I'll make an account on Logitech and look into it more in the morning.

Thanks. + rep to both of you.

Go to your local PC store and use the mice. I've bought mice online a few times and hated the way they felt.

Have you used a Razer mouse? They aren't fragile like their keyboards and headsets are.

The sensor used on Roccat Kone+ is known to be a good one.

I use MX518 btw, change the polling rate to 500 and its a proper good mouse. Gets your crosshair where you want it, when you want it.

Intellimouse 1.1/3.0 are also known to be real good.

the roccat kone+ is an awesome mouse agreed, with almost no flaws. If I have to pick any is its feel little bit bulky and heavy(g500 will too), and the coating used is not very good as I never had a mouse where it wore off so fast. otherwise its pretty much perfect

mx518 and intellimouse 3.0 are the best for fpses, optical is the way to go
