If I want to OC, should I buy lower Ghz - Page 2

You want a good motherboard, capable of good bus clock overclocking, and at least 1600Mhz RAM (this is a must if you want to hit 4Ghz), with 1055T.

Boots fine from229-246 and from 273-312. Hits a fsb wall at 312. Meaning it will not boot any higher. No matter what. Thankfully the unlocked multi let me worn around it and get a very solid oc.
Do 1055T's have a fsb hole?

I've stabled at 293 fsb (4.1Ghz) on mine.
Hitting a fsb wall at 312 would be fine.

he is talking about x6's not x3's.

You can have a fsb hole in any chip. It's not specific to model or batch or what not.
