Hey there everyone, new to the site, not new to overclocking but haven't done any serious stuff in a while. Long time PC gamer here that was LONG due for an upgrade. My new rig is coming in this week from Velocity Micro. Here's the setup that I had:

Intel P4 @ 3.2 gig
nvidia 7800 gtx 256 mb
1 gig RAM
250 gig HD
450W PSU

New rig (Velocity Micro Vector Holiday Edition)

Mobo: Asus P7P55D-E
CPU: Intel Core i5 -760 OC to 3.6 gig
CPU Cooling: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
RAM: 4 GB DDR3-1333
GPU: 768MB EVGA GeForce GTX 460
HD: 1 TB

Can't wait to play with the potential of the EVGA card, read lots of great things about its stability and cool temps when pushed. Also upgraded to a 23 inch Samsung PX2370 monitor so I'm basically ready to lock myself away for a week and game until I can't stay awake on Red Bull and junk food anymore. Looking forward to getting some good tips here and contributing what I can.

Nice, not a bad PC you got there, although you could have built your own PC and had fun doing it

No doubt more fun to DIY, but I haven't built my own system in quite a long time, and never did it solo, always had a friend that really knew their stuff. Since that friend is now out of touch, and for some additional peace of mind, I chose to go with a reputable builder. For kicks I priced out the build with the exact same parts on NewEgg and VM still did it cheaper. I'm more than comfortable with upgrading the rig on my own (new vid cards, more RAM, etc.). At least I'll get to admire the new rig's guts with the side window and blue neon lights lol.

Lol just looked at your rig and looks like ours could be cousins.
