It is not going to work.

That PicoPSU is only rated for 12v@8A (96w): http://resources.mini-box.com/online...-XT-manual.pdf

It actually is a 110-120w PSU. I browsed through their picoPSUs and none of them will work for your build since you have a discrete video card. Your best bet is go with a TFX or SFX PSU.

The spec sheet says 12v@8A constant. There is a higher peak rating but it cannot hold that for any length of time.

If i were going to run 750 with a hd5570(maxpeak about 40w), wouldnt that be possible?

All this trouble Is there any particular reason you NEED a picoPSU that say this could do just as well if not better, just at the expense of space?

At the moment I have a Bequiet SFX 350W with a gtx460 in a Lian Li Q11. But theres problem with the heat and so on and i dont quite like it. So I checked that some people has been able to run i5 750 with 5670/5570 and i was thinking of doing the same. then i can use my U12P in the Q11.

If i downclock the 750 to maybe 2ghz, shouldnt the power consumption go down too? I prob gonna buy a kill-a-watt and use a 8600gt to check consumption to compare.

Power consumption would go down, but at full load it would still be pushing it. Temperatures would go down too...an i3 with HT would have worked out better Do a test and see how much it pulls, I'm kind of interested.

Now I bought an adapter to check the power consumption and these are the results.
RTHHDR is a stresstest for the GPU and I have a GTX460.

2.67GHz 4 cores 1.0V
Idle: 87~ watt
Prime: 155~ watt
Prime+RTHDR: 260~ watt

2.0GHz 4 cores 1.0V
Idle: 85~ watt
Prime: 135~ watt

2.0GHz 4 cores 1.0V
Idle: 85~ watt
Prime: 135~ watt

1.86GHz 4 cores 1.0V
Idle: 83~ watt
Prime: 133~ watt

1.86GHz 2 cores 1.0V
Idle: 80~ watt
Prime: 105~ watt


Tests with a 7600GT:

A new update! Sorry for the double post.

I got a hold of a DA-2 and connected it to a 160-xt. I played around with it for awhile with 7600gt and with prime on all cores with 2.67ghz, the usage never exceeded 140w.

Playing sc2 for 1 hour and the temp for the CPU never exceeded 43c and the watt usage was never over 110. I doubt when i play games or watch movie will ever get up to 150w usage so im good with the results.
