What would you do? - Page 2

get what makes you happy man. Can you check out the 27" to compare? I'm returning my u3011 tomorrow. Although it is very nice, it is over the top for me considering the price paid ~$1150. It's just not justifiable unless you are rich or really need it for work or productivity or something. I'm typing on my 2007fp after 2 weeks of 2560x1600 and I'm surprised that I'm pretty happy with it (just goes to show that I don't REALLY need that much real estate although it was nice). 4 years ago, I was extremely happy with my 23" samsung TN before I even knew what ips was. I think 1900x1200 24" ips is a good sweet spot imo.. Still kind of pricey but at least it isn't nearing a grand

That is the truth my Dell is 1900x1200 16:10 (I just don't like the 16:9 aspect ratio). REP+ for you!

I went ahead and ordered the Acer. I will try it and compare it with the Dell. I can always return it if I do not like it...
