well i also read that the game wont ship with the high res texture pack, it will be available as a dlc when the game is launched, so that might account for some of the size...

do you have a link to this?

what about the people with a bad internet connection who can't go off and DL a high res texture pack? there are a lot of people out there like that.

i hope that there's some misunderstanding here. really i do.

Developer posted it...

it seems EA is rushing the release of major titles so the PC versions arent fully ready by the time it goes Gold. First Crysis... now Dragon Age 2...
bet ya 12 dollars to a dozen donuts that it is the same with Mass Effect 3.
