Best Buy doesn't even in-store price match to their online store (at least, they didn't within the last year or two)--let alone other etailers. It's their own fault if their business tactics aren't keeping them competitive. And Geek Squad can only take them so far... With tech being more and more common-place, having a physical sub-business of troubleshooting hardware will become more and more obsolete as more and more people become tech savvy. If Best Buy was counting on Geek Squad to keep them afloat indefinitely, they're pretty dumb.

Problem is Fry's aren't super-abundant (not like Best Buy). Some people only have brick-and-moartar access to Best Buy close to them.
And to be honest, there are times when I need something quick, and can't wait to receive something from Newegg, and getting it at BB is cheaper than overnight shipping delivery from an etailer--and at least if something gets botched with the thing I get, there's at least a physical store to return it to immediately for exchange or refund.Edited by guyladouche - 3/7/11 at 10:13am
