p67 deluxe or m4e ?

Thread Starter
hey guys, well i ordered the maximus iv extreme 4 from newegg when it came up (b3 stepping) for 400 bucks . I ordered it because i desperaly needed a new pc since i am without a pc. Anyways i saw that the asus p67 deluxe is almost the same as the maximus and im pretty sure its cheaper. Since i am going to build my system caseless for now, i could use the maximus 4 until the deluxe come to stock and then return it for a refund, and buy the deluxe

my questions are
1.what was the price of the asus p67 deluxe when it was in stock
2.whats the diff between the deluxe and maximus
3.what g.skill ram is better for it ripjaws x 2133 or ripjaws x 1600

The price is about 130$ cheaper than the maximus. With the maximus you are getting quad sli supprt and 20 phase vrm over regular sli/xfire support and 16 phase vrm. In otherwords, unless you have 4 gpu's to pack it with, it's not worth the price. And both of those ram kits will do just fine, but of course the 2133 will be faster. Note though, several reviews have shown that SB doesn't really see any noticable performance boosts past 1866 mhz ram, and even that is a small jump up from 1600.
