How about a Z68 board? Features SSD caching and I heard that it makes use of the graphics chip in the 2600k for video editing.

Well it's still ASUS! I've got an ASUS board in the PC I have now and I've never had an issue in the 3+ years I've owned it.

The Z68 is only about $10 more. You've got me greatly interested. Do you think it would be that noticeable?

Yes this is a very good point, Z68 may be what you are looking for and I believe that ASUS's Pro Z68 is going to be available soon if not already. The quick sync feature would be worth $10 to you with out a doubt but do a little research to see if you can use it without having a monitor connected to the display ports of the motherboard because last I read for H67 you could not use quick sync if your monitor wasn't connected to a discrete card.

P.S. I have tried it a few times and I can't figure out why my link is doing that in my previous post.

I will do some research on that then because there's no sense in buying it if it has to be connected to the motherboard.

I'm very sorry about that LOL

That UD4 doesn't have any display outs on the board FYI if that is a requirement for quick sync. I have seen that many of Gigabyte;s Z68 boards don't actually have any display outs, I believe that the Asus Z68 Pro does but double check before you buy. Also after you do your research on the quick sync topic be sure to check out the Silverstone RV03, it really is one of if not THE best aircooling case on the market for a rig like yours.

I just checked out that RV03 and I'm not sure if I like it. Plus I'm having a hard time understanding what fans come with it and which you need to buy. Been a long day

alrighty let me work up a hard sell and I'll edit this post with some good information on it. It comes with two 180mm fans in the bottom and one 120mm in the top, and that would be plenty. More wouldn't hurt but the ones it comes with will be more than adequate.

EDIT: Here is a link to a decent review of the case as well as 3 videos that will give you an idea of what it's like to use/build the case (the second video isn't linked on that page but should be one of the ones that pop up at the end of the first video). Here is a link to a massive thread that has lots of information about the case and impressions from various members here on the site, keep in mind that the issues of power supply socket orientation has been solved. Here is a video going of the case's main features with the PR guy for Silverstone. I don't exactly understand what you could dislike about the case other than if the looks aren't for you, it covers all the bases an like I said is a monster of an air cooled case no matter how much you spend, all that for only $146 is very hard to beat. If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I have been following this case for a few months and it will be my case for my rig in two weeks when it gets here from Amazon.
