Of course modularity and the red light have no effect on the performance. Personally and for the same price, I'd pick the SXSII, it's not going to hurt you, and it's a slightly better unit anyway.

If you choose the Corsair TX650 in the end though, make sure to get the TX650V2, not the regular old TX650.
would u pay the almost double amount of money to get the Corsair(as Corsair is really known for its good quality products and i heard they make pretty awesome PSUs, instead of the cheaper OCZ? let me know your point of view..

That really depends on how much money you're able and/or willing to spend on this. Considering you're not going to add a 2nd video card, I think the StealthXStream II 600W is a good deal. You'll never need that much power, never mind the power of the Corsair TX650, so you might as well go for the cheaper yet very decent option offered by the OCZ.

ok mate first of all thanks a billion for offering me some time and sharing some of your advice..one last question...is the StealthXStream better than the ModXStream series? Cause i found the ModXStream 700W same price as the ModXStream 600W and the StealthXStream 700W...which series is better? i wouldnt mind spending 10 more € for a 700W psu rather than an 600W one...

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm spending a lot of money on a new PSU, as I want my PC to be powered with something a little more reputable. Personally, I would invest in a litte more quality PSU, like a Seasonic X.

The ModXStream units are OK, but I wouldn't get the 700W. I could be wrong but I seem to remember that the 700W versions of the ModXStream and the StealthXStream have a higher tendency to fail. Plus the StealthXStream II is more recent and improved. And regardless, with the ModXStream 700W, you're still getting a ~600W unit since the +12V output capability of the ModXStream 700W is only 552W, kind of anemic.

my luck is really really bad...firstly the OCZ StealthXStream II 600W and the 700W one are both unavailable at the greek shops..Dont know when they will restock them. Secondly the ModXStream which is modular and is as good as the Stealths costs 71 € and has 26 € shipping costs to my home..Which makes it 97 € in total..The shop which sells the Corsair TX650 V2 and the Silverstone Strider ST75F 750W has free shipping to my place so with the same price i could get either those 3:
-OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ~ 96€
-Corsair TX650 650W ~ 99€
-Silverstone Strider ST75F 750W ~ 104€ (also dont know if this is the Plus edition which is a reccomened PSU on the reccomended PSU sticky thread, but its modular for sure+is 750W and has good efficiency..)
let me know your choice...depending on my needs and if its a great deal to give only a really small difference in the money and get a really better one..

If it's the ST75F-P, I guess it's worth the extra €5. If it's just the ST75F, then don't bother.

Out of those three the Silverstone Strider for sure. Then the TX650 V2 then the OCZ unit.
